hmm i know perfectly purple bottle and when i was yesterday listening to new sigur i didn't hear the similarity you heard. but thats interesting.
i think i would have liked this song if it was recorded by some new band. i mean, i do like this song but it doesn't sound like sigur rós. |
I didn't write: I hear similarity between these two tracks
I don't like Sigur Ros much but their concert blew me away.
nevermind.
I was just woke by interview with Iggy Pop. He recorded an album (?) with Goran Bregovic? any news? |

Me too! You know near the end when he sings:
'Did I say that I loathe you?'
I always thought he was singing:
'Did I say that I love you?'
birdantony, what a treasure trove, thanks, but I can't download those till I'm back on wireless (long story!). Maybe I should just buy an album.

no, they aren't I saw them two years ago at the biggest music festival in Poland. that time they weren't as popular as they are now in my country that's why a lot of peopole could lie on the grass staring at the stars (Sigur Ros performed before midnight) or the stage and listening to their music. the best part of this gig was when red-clothed musicians (they weren't band members) walked across the stage playing their instruments. here's this moment: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZuHLPmJLd2M&feature=related yeah it was a very amazing gig!
their new album is coming out in June! |

| Everyone get that Beth Rowley album? It is incredible and relaxing. It has a great Laura Nyro vibe about it. Remember that movie "A Home At The End Of The World"? I can picture Colin Farrell's character just loving this stuff!!! |

Bülent Ortaçgil is Turkish. He has been compared to Donovan, Nick Kent...

Benimle Oynar Misin (1974, recently reissued on vinyl in Spain)
