another of my favorite blogs, exp etc, just posted a whole lotta jandek.
fantastic outsider folk from a reclusive texan. i can't recommend his first three albums enough. i doubt any of them are bad.

That blog looks great, thanks! I'll be looking at that for awhile I bet.
I've heard a lot about Jandek but haven't heard any actual music and I've been so daunted by his huge discography. I'm going to check out Six and Six for now.

i know, i know. i find it strange that roy harper is so unknown... i discovered him because led zeppelin has a song 'hats of to roy harper', and one of their most beautiful songs 'bron-yr-aur-stomp' is said to be inspired to roy harper too. that made me curious long time ago and since then i listened more to roy harper than to led zep Wink Laughing

it is true i have a very wide opinion of folk music.
i just think everyone should hear that album.
