David Gray - Life in Slow Motion
I like it.
Am I supposed to, though?
I've been called a tasteless fucker on a few occasions, because of my musical taste.
I've had 'Ain't No Love' on repeat for an hour. |

I was digging through my old 7" singles with a friend the other night. Among many delights was "Church of the Poison Mind" an old fave. That Helen Terry could sing. Wonder what she does now?
Tonight I've been mainly listening to my computer's fan.
night night

dunno what happened to Helen Terry, she was great though. I'm listening to Victims right now, also Culture Club. Next on the playlist is Kate Bush, the man with the child in his eyes.
by the way, rose, that avatar is just beautiful! |

hey, do you know the other bird , first name Andrew ?
just saw him live tonight in lille (France) for the second time, it was fantastic (not so much on cds for me)
it's another style but this guy is a genius and I have never heard such a beautiful whistle (except antony of course)
this remind me of this (if someone missed it)

yeah, Elise, Andrew Bird is very good. Love th whistle, too. The vpro doc is how I discovered Antony, and I've seen it so many times, since.
now listening to Rufus, Natasha.
lyreb, you're really into the cavewoman thing, aren't you? We're seeing a whole new side of you! I mean I picture you as a very elegant lady, in a salon with beautiful antique furniture, and tea in a porcelain cup... the idea of placing Antony-as-Cavewoman in that context is kind of unsettling....

But, but, but, there's a very different lyre on the inside.
She's been trying to fly the coop all her life.
It's her nemesis, her albatross, the fact that the personality does not fit the appearance.
Oh to shed the cashmere and pearls for a tattoo and streak of fuschia through her hair.

Listening to Cripple... on Antony and the Johnsons and it totally suits my melancholy mood this dull, rainy afternoon.
I have tea.
I have chocolate. |
